Dr. Dongdong Xu has doctoral training in both basic and clinical medical sciences and has worked extensively in ophthalmology clinical care, medical research, and professional education.
She spent many years in the Department of Ophthalmology at Peking Union Medical College Hospital, with clinical experience spanning strabismus, pediatric ophthalmology, optometry, vision training, and thyroid eye disease.
In addition to clinical practice, she completed systematic biomedical research training and studied at the Jules Stein Eye Institute in the United States, while continuing to participate in international medical exchange and professional research.
She currently continues clinical work at Beijing United Family Hospital and remains engaged in areas including vision training, functional vision, and neuro-visual rehabilitation.
